That's how the world began.
So some people say.
From death and destruction,
Life came under construction.
Remains so today.
But logic needs to beckon,
I reason and I reckon,
Foul's what I cry.
If that's what you think,
Watch what you drink.
Pigs just might fly.
A radioactive weed,
Was our original seed,
So some people say.
In a little nuclear pool,
The spit and the drool,
Began the first day.
It then started to swim,
Had desires and a whim,
To walk upon land.
It grew itself some legs,
But all of reason begs,
Flying pigs look grand.
Let's get a little serious,
Stop being delirious,
Think a second or two.
All this foolish chatter,
Who created matter?
Was it me or you?
Who put it all together?
Gave birds their feather?
"Who was it?" I cry.
Evolution's a lark,
A wild shot in the dark,
'Cos pigs don't fly.
A sheep's not a goat,
A whale surely floats,
A dolphin swims.
There is an engineer,
Designed it all, no fear,
No fancy whims.
He created all things,
Every one of them sings,
His praises together.
Truth will always remain,
Nature declares His name,
And will forever.
