There are no hands that push us through it
No mighty whip with a hand of fate
I love the man who built the bridge
And told me to enter at no risk
I see a cross at the end of the doorway
Beaconing to me with the age of time
Love beyond measure
Makes me a willing treasure
My sins were nailed to that tree
And now I am totally free
Go through that door and don’t turn back
For God so loved the world
He put us on the right track
Willingness comes with restoration
Let Jesus be our proclamation
Willing servants love their master
Get in tune for the hereafter
Don’t get left down in the cold
When the horn of Gabriel begins to blow
When the sun refuses to shine
When the moon turns to blood
When the Beast is in command
Let me take a final stand
Let that mark pass me by
Let me be willing to lay down and die
I could never even the score,
even if I tried.
How many of us would be willing to lay down our lives for Jesus?
Theses twelve did:
Andrew-crucified
Bartholomew-beaten then crucified
James, son of Alphaeus-stoned to death
James, son of Zebedee-beheaded
John-exiled for his faith: died of old age
Judas (not Iscariot)-stoned to death
Matthew-speared to death
Peter-crucified upside down
Phillip-crucified
Simon-crucified
Thomas-speared to death
Matthias-stoned to death

Go through that door and don’t turn back
That line stayed with me as I realized so often I do...
