If burdens seem impossible to bear
Remember God says, "cast your cares upon me"
Don’t be surprised when God shows you His care
If someone that you love has come to ruin
If their lives are too difficult to face
Remember God is still their loving Father
And you won’t be surprised when God sends grace
God has a way of taking all our sorrows
And changing them to joy with each new day
He has a way of changing lives forever
And “all things work together” when we pray
If you are scared and don't think you'll find courage
If your heart pounds within you through your tears
Remember God is always your protector
And you won't be surprised to face your fears
If you don't know how you will pay your mortgage
If your resources just don’t seem enough
Remember: God's the Source of all provision
Don’t be surprised: God’s great when times are tough
God knows our needs, before we even tell Him
And He provides us with each day’s supply
He is the answer to our every question
He's the "because" for each and every "why?"
If you are lonely and your heart is empty
If there’s no peace or comfort from above
Remember: we all have a Friend in Jesus
And you won't be surprised when He sends love
If you are sick and pain has claimed your body
If life has passed before your wond'ring eyes
Remember God is with you in this moment
And life is God's continuous surprise
He sends us times of joy and times of sorrow
He sends both peace and challenges our way
He loves us as we are and knows our purpose
Don’t be surprised! This is His Will, today
