And people my cargo will be.
The places we travel are both far and near,
With many a sight to see.
A church group this time at this writing of rhyme,
An amusement park themed with a scare.
A young leader so bold with no opinions on hold,
So eagerly he was willing to share.
So I did my best to put his faith to the test,
Asking questions of God and the Bible.
As Truth for my guide and the Spirit inside,
He gave answers that he now would be liable.
He told me the Bible was a book of just tales,
From men who would write their own mind.
That it could not be trusted and taken as Truth,
That truth would come from mankind.
Each one would decide if the Scriptures had lied,
Whether children or people of age.
With no penalty for sin or the evil within,
Decisions in life have no wage.
He said God up above sent His Son down in love,
To die once and all for our sin.
With no need to repent to this Savior God sent,
On our own we are able to win.
So when asking of hell he would willingly tell,
That God’s love keeps us out of that place.
He wouldn’t send us there to that place of despair,
He’s greatly misinterpreted God’s Grace.
I said for your sake, I hope you are right,
Look around, all these kids look to you.
But if you are wrong they’ll be wailing hell’s song,
When standing before God, what will you do?
