Exciting adventures of the loving Three
Then a vacated home, to rest in his creation of a virgin's womb
That's where he lodged a little while
Then left!
Braying asses drowned the sound of suckled breast
A peace unbroken amidst the turmoil of human fear
A fractured humanity obeying the tyrannical call
He lay his head awhile, among man's woes
Then left!
Receiving humanity's caring side
Great love to protect this precious gift
A plotting to thwart the outstretched hand
A fear for his life to be cut short
They left!
A young mind teasing the aged elite
Causing a pondering at wisdom not their own
Earthly parents blinded by the throng
A strong independence, to them, so wrong
He had left!
Lost among a family's bustling life
Secondary responsibilities to a lost earth
The call came stronger to the need
To bind a severed humanity
He left!
Men strong in habit heard his voice
In business of fish and tax and self
Balanced betwixt a life or death
They saw the hope
They left!
A woman craving for a good man's love
Tarnished by life's missing treasures
Sold to sin – in the darkest grip of night
She saw in him his light
And left!
They followed a man who had no bed
Favoured of humanity to share this life
They stumbled in trying to keep his step
Which led to a cross
He left!
The Risen One now walked their shores
A revived hope now breathing and alive!
A hope that led them to his mount
The Shepherd's blessing given
Then he left!

Sorry but I just had to say that after reading all the "he left" phrases! LOL LOL
But yes, He left to do the Father's will..for you and me and us all...
and you have shone that well in this poem! Enjoyed!

Great take on the topic! I like how you used the "he left" repitition.
