Previous Challenge Entry (Level 2 – Intermediate)
Topic: Soul (07/13/06)
A familiar smell permeated the room, filling up all of the spaces within and without. It was like the smell of early morning dew or freshly fallen rain. The sweet incense delighted my senses as a thick cloud of light enveloped the room. Electrical impulses shot through every cell in my body as I felt the presence of God all around me. The lights in the room were emeralds, blues, and reds filtering through the rainbow of light. The peace was still and calm like a gentle breeze or still waters. My spirit, heart and soul were communing with My Creator, worshipping before Him in awe of His overwhelming presence. Humbly, I bowed and absorbed all of Him that was possible. In the presence of the King, I listened quietly and remained still as He spoke to my heart. A warmth and joy like I have never know rose up all around me and took my breath away. His anointing flowed like a river over me as the Holy Spirit breathed in me His purpose. The tingling sensation pulsed through my face, hands and feet, witnesses of His presence and touch. He spoke, “Peace, be still, My Child. All is well. I have engraved your name in the palm of My hand. You are held in My grip. Only Trust Me and see if I will not make a way for you.” With tears of joy streaming down my face, I rose and went my way, knowing by faith that everything that I had entrusted to Him was kept safely for me.
