There is a peace in my heart that is beyond our earthly understanding. I know that when my time here on earth is over, I will be with my Savior face to face. Christ lifted me up out of the sinking sands and placed me on higher solid ground. When our Savior went to the cross just over two thousand years ago He called out my name. I was not even thought of then. Yet, the good Lord knew all about me. He knew that I would accept Him as my Personal Savior.
The peace that Christ has given me is one that I know He will take care of me. He reminds me of how He looked after the birds of the air. If our Heavenly Father takes care of them why wouldn’t He take better care of me, His child? My Heavenly Father knows when I come and go He is there when I cry to comfort me. Jesus has provided all my needs that are in His perfect plan. He never has dropped me even when I have turned my back on Him.
I know that there is tranquility when it comes to my daughter. When Christ reached down and took her to Heaven nine years ago, He took her out of her suffering and made her whole. There is that comfort that I know without a doubt that I will see Cyndy again some day soon.
Just like with my father-in-law I know that when he slipped behind the curtain that he was accepted into the Heavenly Kingdom. Our Heavenly Father took him out of his misery and suffering. I have the peace that just before Dad died that he saw Christ and the angels. He might have also seen his parents and our daughter waiting to welcome him into a place of no suffering.
When in my darkest hours my Savior sends His doves, to show me that He is there and waiting for me to tell Him what is on my mind. He also sends them at times to let me know that when I am worried that the problem would be worked out. Just seeing the doves gives me the peace to go on when I just feel I can’t go on any longer.
Speaking of doves, when a friend had died recently, I was worried that he wasn’t with the Lord. After many prayers and pleating with Christ, He sent his doves to give me peace of mind. No one in that friend’s family knew that I liked doves. When a white dove was placed in the center of flowers on the casket, I knew that Christ was telling me that He had my friend in Heaven with Him.
Reading of the Lord’s words brings comfort to me that I can’t find any other place, His word is so peaceful. During sleepless nights when I can not sleep, I can read from the Bible and the calmness comes over me, where I am able to go back to sleep. Knowing that I am wrapped in the arms of God I am able to continue on in life knowing that Christ is watching over me. My mortal body may be harmed here on earth, but my soul cannot be harmed. There fore I am resting in Christ.

What a beautiful testimony.
I was very moved by your great faith, through our Lord, Jesus - and, the exquisite words about your daughter. I know that you will be reunited with her, one day, in the wholeness, and peaceful understanding
of His Grace. Your life has
been touched by great sadness; your eternal life will be touched with great joy. God Bless.
