Topic: ARTIFICIAL (08/11/16)
It must be so much work to keep that smile on your face.
How your teeth must be clenched, and how your jaw must ache.

Everything is in it's place on the stage you have set.
You stand in the center, oh the applause you will get!

The only thing needed are the pawns in your game.
Those faces smiling out from your shiny picture frames.

It used to be easy to pull just the right string
To get them to perform, the praises they would bring!

But now you pull harder because they pull away.
They realize you don't know them, just the role they should play.

It's only about you and the things that you feel
In this artificial world that holds such appeal.

Maybe one day you'll see beyond tales you have told
And be a part of real stories as they unfold.

That you have a choice you sadly cannot see
And that is what they call a tragic tale indeed.

I love this tragedy because I very much want to help others to see the real center of their lives.

I noticed one very small error, more or less a punctuation error. I think it should be "its" instead of the possessive form or in this case, the contractual form of "it's" which really can be read "it is."

"Its" is a possessive pronoun and doesn't require the "'s" just as are hers and his.

The only way I can change this tragedy into glory is by knowing what is happening to us as people. We are changing and evolving. At one time, I just did not appreciate that this meant a process of continual birth and that a higher kingdom within us is capable of making themselves known to others and to us being that this kingdom lives inside of us. The way I learned to help it manifest more fully is by purifying. Thanks for sharing this amazing sense of us and them in this way.
