Well done! I wish I knew how to write these "not quite free verse" poems.

I liked the first part especially, with its short, choppy lines. Very appealing.
A powerful poem, rich in Biblical context and feeling, and just beautiful when viewed as the author suggests.
Very well done.

This was my favorite this week. I thought for sure it was going to be #1. Such a beautiful poem. I think every Christian school student should be required to memorize this one. I love the first 4 lines the best! Thank you for this excellent entry.

This evoked so many feelings in me. My mom always brushed away my tears and said "weeping may endure for the night but JOY cometh in the morning" And now that she is in the nursing home with Alzheimers those words comfort me even more.
