Absolute truth is no longer in vogue;
Society’s values have hit new lows;
Relativism is the status quo.
Our country had a conservative base,
Firm foundations where God’s Law was embraced,
Sound moral codes once sat firmly in place;
In recent years, they’ve been largely replaced.
Why has this happened? Why change what worked well?
Things were going fine; the country excelled;
The change is not good; it’s easy to tell,
It’s a downward spiral; it smells of Hell!!
The truth is: - By man-made legislation
No country is a God-fearing nation:
Lawlessness is the manifestation
Of humanity’s degeneration.
God gave man truth, which Satan dared deny;
Our first parents fell for the awful lie;
The result being, that every man must die;
Cursed by sin and death, all the world’s awry.
This, the ultimate case of “truth and dare”
Was no game, brought mankind untold despair,
Which only Calvary’s cross could repair---
The Gospel Truth which His people declare.
All need His redemption, all are depraved,
To sin and death are completely enslaved;
“Perilous times will come;” don’t be amazed;
Believe the gospel of Christ, and be saved.

We need to walk in love and compassion, but there is a time for tough love because eternity hangs in the balance. On any battery that has a positive, there is also a negative. This is just my thoughts. God bless and thanks for sharing this...Randy Gene
