Agreed! This is lovely. I enjoyed the phrases about the "absence of rushing sound", rain falling as jewels across icy land, "lingering in silent meditation", "the lyrics of the cold", "a soulish flavor far from bittersweet". The last 7 lines of Stanza 2 contains a point upon which to meditate. The last stanza is perfect for those beginning to understand that winter is not to be avoided, but embraced. Thanks for this offering to the Lord!
