How can you choose between
the sturdy old English Oak,
or the peeling bark of the
ancient Silver Birch.

How can you choose between
the lop-earred rabbit,
or the elegant gazelle
grazing on the plain.

How can you choose between
the colours of the rainbow.
How can God choose between
you and me.

Simple
He doesn't.
Why then
should we?

Simply stated but you could have expanded to get the required 150 word count. I am reminded of a verse in John 15 "You did not choose Me but I chose you."

What a great little poem! I didn't even realize about the word count! Just goes to show you when you are concentrating on the thoughts and not the "prize" you can say a lot! Enjoyed this very much!
