Topic: Hope (05/04/06)
In the twenty first century, discouragement and destruction is rampant. Youngsters are more inclined to suicide, in the present time than at any other; crime is more evident in many areas and people have lost their human feelings.

God has been saying since the beginning that our hope should be in the belief of the glorious appearance which will take us to the place where for eternity, we will be able to live like kings and queens.

Unfortunately not many believe this. Rather we limit ourselves to the current status of living, accumulating things that money can buy, craving earthly status, etc.

However, 1 Peter 1:4 shows us that God has given us access, through Jesus Christ, to “…an inheritance that will not perish, spoil or fade…kept in heaven…” (NIV)

This inheritance is already ours to enjoy if we do just one thing: accept Jesus Christ as our Saviour. There is no money involved, in fact there is no cost involved whatsoever. The only thing one needs to do is acknowledge that Jesus died for their sins to be eligible to receive this inheritance.

Neither is there stress involved in receiving this. It is the best you will ever receive and it gives you status beyond your imagination or perception.

The best thing is that it lasts forever, no end. It will never run out; it will never throw you out on the streets; it certainly won’t cause greed, extortion, violence, jealousy, etc.

We should therefore grab a hold of and hang on to this inheritance promised by a loving Father who has offered it freely to those who ask and “be not bothered by the enticement of this world.”

You are a good writer, with an important message. This would make a good tract with, in my opinion, one addition. Begin with a parable, or story to draw the reader's attention and touch the heart. That way, your message will find a receptive place for planting and growing and bearing fruit. God bless you!
