Topic: GET COLD FEET (10/12/17)
THE CAVE: DEPRESSION

The hills roll to their valley and crumble

Mountains drown in oceans

Smooth rides develop bumps

Trust develop faults

Love crushed you to the crust

Well designed clothes covered with Frost



The beauty on your faces grow ugly

Light gradually reducing to darkness

The joy that once flowed now hurts badly

Smiles turns to wishes of Happiness???

The beauty of the pockets smiles away sheepishly

Greatness of men turn to ashes



A cave running to and fro in search of every opening

Looking hardly to drown your happiness

A valley looking for those to sink in depression

And YOU, YOU & YOU might just be in sadness

Your feet, becomings slippery, sliding into darkness

Collapsing into it's arms, you've sunk lonely and forlornness



It's whisper engulfs your bones, making them debole

It's grip scatters every single hair on that scrap leaving them miserable

It's kiss distributes your senses to different countries, FRUSTRATED

Broken cells, worn out tissues, EXASPERATED

The bed, from dew to moonlight becomes your closest friend, SICK

Atoms, moving round your body, setting dreams on wheel chairs, oh! How it PRICKS



Beware, it's the valley that's been looking for YOU

Encourage yourself and get out of it's dew

Fingers, pull the buckle and get out of it's pews

Foot, accelerate at light's speed and let it be a fool

Lighten your facial muscles, Reveal those dimples, make it a useless tool

Grab the pull, move on, get to the light ahead of YOU



You have such a beautiful future ahead of YOU

Don't let it get rid of Divine Features in YOU

Do your best, encourage yourself

Get Up Dear!!! And make your life of it's kind, the Best

Smile!!!☺ Laugh!!! Pull Harder!!!

And you'll be shocked HOW, but you've made it so much farther Above the Stars!!!⭐

I liked many of your word choices in this poem. I'm wondering if the judges marked you down because they didn't think it fit this week's topic well.

This happened to me a couple of weeks ago. I encourage you to keep writing. I see a lot of potential.
