Yes, Lord?

Pack your bags buddy, your taking a trip!

Huh, where to Lord?

Nineveh, they have great tourist attractions there you know

Well, I don't think so Lord, you do know they are BARBARIANS don't you?

Oh, don't worry Jonah, I will go with you

Well thanks, but no thanks Lord, I think I will go to Tarshish instead...I'll just take the next tourist boat that goes out

Have it your way Jonah. Try not to get caught in the tourist-traps, you know; sea weed and all

Yes, Jonah?

I've decided to go to Nineveh after all!

Really? Why the change of mind?


I caught in the sea weed you warned me about

Oh?

Yes, it was a dark dank place and smelled like fish; uncomfortable really

That's too bad Jonah. Did the tour guide forget to turn on the lights and empty the trash?

Apparently....


Well, go on Jonah. Head on over to Nineveh. Time to take a mission trip

And Jonah.....?

Yes, and I am mad enough to die!


Really, Jonah? Wasn't that the point? Don't I have a right as God to be concerned about even Barbarians?

Interesting take on the story of Jonah.

Red Ink: Use a period at the end of a complete sentence.

Well written. I'm glad you included the last chapter. Most people forget about it, but that's the theme of the whole book. I'm not sure if this meets the topic of "Tourist Attraction," but standing alone, it's well done.

your taking should be you're; left out "got" before caught; dark and dank should be separated by a comma. All of that said, it was a cute way of presenting the story of Jonah.
