You travel on the roadways with hearts so full of fear.
It seems like every mile there’s orange signs big and tall.
All telling you of your demise if you don’t heed their call.
Stop, slow down, pull over, and watch out for that truck.
The road ahead is closed somewhere, you’re running out of luck.
The speed you’re going is too fast, road conditions are the worst.
And if you hit that pothole your tire’s sure to burst.
When we play the game of life God gives us signs to read.
They point us to the way of Christ and of our awesome need.
They warn us of those things to come in futuristic days.
For all of those who won’t partake in giving God their praise.
Now in the news there are some views with sexuality.
It knocks the church right off its perch with immorality.
They like to say that it’s okay for same sex ones to lead.
It’s true they are forgiven and Christ will intercede.
But God has said that leaders will be held much higher up.
Their life should be quite holy, striving for a sinless cup.
To be a husband of one wife is in the Masters will.
Not boy with boy and girl with girl where Satin makes the kill.
Those that want to include all claim face from God above.
They tell us that He will not judge these people so in love.
They say something that feels so good just cannot be a sin.
The Bible must be wrong right there for God wants us to win.
So here we go, the church is split, and both sides want a fight.
One says lets just compromise for both are surly right.
The others say God calls it sin; it is both cut and dried.
But in Christ there’s forgiveness when Christ was crucified.
I guess I say the issue isn’t whether gay or straight.
It’s how we read the Bible and then interpolate.
We should be quite careful; you can’t just pick and choose.
If we do not take it all, in the rapture we will loose.
