In the early fall, I wonder if maybe tinges of red might be His favorite color. I see the maple trees began to turn red, along with other types of trees that began to explode in different hues of red. I laugh at these times thinking they look like strutting bird showing off their full plumage to a female.
Again in the late fall, I wonder if yellow might be God’s favorite color, because the leaves from the cottonwood, apple, and cherry trees, and willow trees along the river banks began to cascade down upon our land in a full blaze of yellow. I watch as the willow tree leaves that land in the river look like miniature boats sailing off to a new adventure. As the wind blows the leaves here and there, they become a new world of wonder as our kitten chases and slaps at them as they fall. The grass turns a shade of yellow, letting me know that winter is not far behind.
However, then again, I wonder if white is God’s favorite color. Winter is here and my world is covered in a blanket of snow. As the snow begins to increase on the Mountains the ski lodges open up and provide a time of socializing and warm cups of hot chocolate beside a fireplace after a day on the slopes. Children can hardly wait to get outdoors to ride on their sled, and make snowballs to through at each other. We also see Snowmen began to show their carrot noses, raisin eyes, and slice of apple mouths, with twigs for arms. They seem to be smiling at me as I pass them by.
However, when I think of all the colors that are given to us from God, I think maybe its yellow. He says that we will walk on streets of Gold in heaven, and gold has a yellow color, and yellow seems to send a feeling of Sunshine, happiness, fun, warmth, and friendship. These feelings are my favorite, and so therefore maybe yellow?
