A hard place can be pretty scary. A person can fall pretty easy. From my experience in life, I feel lost when I don’t have a direction or plan with no support. When I pray to God, I can feel his soft touch.
Sometimes when I am about to write, I feel as if I am short of words, so I feel a bit lost when I run out of things to say or express. Other times when I felt like life is a hard place was when I failed a test or didn’t get accepted for a job or when I get yelled at or talked down to by my husband or children.
I also feel that I am in a hard place when I loose a sense of direction whether I should go back to school or not. During those hard times, I have to go to my room, and have some quiet time or go swimming where I am in a friendlier atmosphere.
We also experience financial difficulty where we have trouble making ends meet until the next pay check comes. I feel stressed, and get over whelmed. I keep on praying that things will get better. In a way have improved when I work the extra hours in which I was offered.
Other times when I feel God’s soft touch is when I play the keyboard. I play a few of the songs which were written by “Handel”s Messiah. Those songs express the hard times that Jesus went through when He died on the cross. There was a particular song in which I played several times which was “If God Be for us.” I think it’s a beautiful song where it helps Christians cope in life.
Life can be tough with financial difficulty and sickness as well. If we try to focus on the soft touch from God, it can make life easier.
