I love you both very much. I'm having a good time.I put up my tent all by myself. I wasn't sure I was going to be able to do that. It took a little bit of time but I did it. We went canoing today on the river. You have to paddle on one side and then paddle on the other, otherwise you dont end up going anywhere. I took some practice for everyone to do it right. I must admit it was kind of fun. You know how I'm not the outdoor type.
I made a new friend. His name is Bob. Bob tells really funny jokes. Like the one about the bear falling out of the tree. That one cracks me up every time.
At night we sat around a fire and roasted marshmellows. A couple of guys told scary stories. No one would admit that they were scared though. It was kind of cold at night but I was warm in my sleeping bag.
How is Mr. Beauregard? Does he miss me? You are making sure he's fed, right? Is he getting enough exercise?
Yesterday we shot arrows at a target. The string on the bow is harder to pull back than you would think. It's wound real tight. It's a lot harder than it should be. My arrow didn't go very far and everyone laughed at me. I have to admit it was kind of funny.
After lunch we're picking up trash. Something about keeping the area clean and if we dont do it nobody will. It's not that exciting but it doesn't sound too hard either.
Well, I can't think of anything else. See you all at the end of the week.
