Jesus and the sea
Seems like to me
Jesus had a thing for the sea
One time He calmed the Galilee.

And later, down on the beach
He set a possessed man free.
On the shore the Gospel he did preach
And let's not forget his walking on the sea.

Twice there was an incident with fishes
So many that it caused nets to break
while on the beach he prepared his friends' favorite dishes,
One order of fried fish and a little bread cake.

By the sea was the place
Jesus gave the disciples their commission
He explained what would it take to run this race
The only condition, total and complete submission.

Oh, I see, it's not the sea,
Maybe its the seashore
God told Abraham his descendants would be,
As the dust of earth or more.

Seeing the grains of sands
representing just a portion of the earth
and how God's plan for man
is to do like Jesus and share the new birth!

Wow, seems to me
Jesus had thing for you and me.

Enjoyable poem showing Jesus' use of the sea to perform so many of his miracles and the reference to Abraham to whom the promise was made that his descendants would in number be like the sand which is upon the seashore.
