Find its loss
In the heart
And mind...
It will discover
That it has caused
The possessor
An enormous loss
Of love and time --
It will create
Consumption
Of energy and grace --
It will issue
Devastation
And rampant waste --
It will birth
Many ills and woes
On every path
It goes --
But
If the possessor
Of the angry mind
Could gain the concept
Of simply being KIND --
Anger would
Be consumed
Before it would find
Its way
Into the heart of man
And would be turned
To GOODNESS
Before it had
Its say...
Anger will
Disappear
When the heart
Is pure --
For where
There is GOODNESS
UNDERSTANDING
And LOVE
Anger no longer
Can endure --
So
Let GOODNESS
Create within
The heart and mind
The fertile field
Where anger
Is removed as the weed
And where peacefulness
Grows to flower
From LOVE'S
Seed...
