I was sipping my first cup of morning coffee when my wife cried out. “Peach, come here quick, you won’t believe what’s on T.V.!” As I rushed into the room I heard the words that so often accompany major headline news:

“This Is A Fast Breaking News Alert!”

Then the camera switched over to a woman who called herself Eve. She spoke softly, almost angelic, her long blonde hair and blue eyes highlighted a pale oval face that beckoned for attention as she explained through tears of joy that eternal life was now possible through cloning.

I slapped my coffee down as chills of fear filled my soul. Eve was telling the world that humans were created by extraterrestrial beings who had mastered the art of genetic research. Eve said her creators were known as the elohim’s. As Eve spoke the switchboards at all the major news stations were swamped with calls. Reporters were rushing to find out every little detail about where this woman came from as she continued to speak.

The elohim’s who created me will be here soon. You have no need to fear them. They are coming to heal your sickness and bring peace to your world. They have the secret to eternal life. We have much to tell you about your existence.

My wife looked at me with sober eyes and said: “Can this be real? What should we do now?” I heard her but I couldn’t reply, my heart was racing and everything I heard seemed so unreal.

Funny how Christians pray for the Lord to come and then it’s like a major shock wave when the bible prophecies begin to unfold in front of our eyes. It was almost nightmarish. I found myself struggling to fit all the pieces together.

As Eve continued to speak the camera’s suddenly switched over to show us thousands of what appeared to be bright lights that covered the entire sky. I quickly switched the channel to make sure this wasn’t some kind of joke but every station on TV was covering these same bright lights that were slowly descending on New York City and Los Angeles.

As the lights came closer to earth the reporters yelled over the network we hear singing. In one grand symphonic movement thousands, upon thousands of voices were singing in angelic harmony old time gospel songs praising God. The news stations were showing the world the grand entrance of the cloned elohim’s.

Suddenly the singing stopped and a voice rolled through the heavens like thunder announcing: O Earth, the elohim’s God has arrived; bow down before him and live.

Then there was silence in heaven as I watched people of the earth begin to bow down like falling dominoes before the elohim’s. As I watched the camera’s panned over to the hospitals and the world saw the sick get out of their hospital beds and bow down in praise. As the elohim’s drew closer people of the earth begin screaming with joy as they recognized love ones that had long passed.

As the celebration continued I opened my Bible to Matthew 24:24 “For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the very elect if that were possible.” All those who refuse to follow Christ will follow the deluding influence of Satan’s lie. (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12)

I thought of all the opportunities I had to warn my friends about this very event and now I watched as these false spiritual powers played out their deceptions. This false joy would soon turn to terror.

There was no time to undo the past. I should have warned them.
