The doctor’s assistant was the young and confident Mark Doubleday. After carefully evaluating a host of potential candidates, he was by far the most qualified and far superior to the rest. He was a recent graduate of the top ranked Johns Hopkins University, in which he had earned two PhD’s in the field of biomedical sciences. He was also the youngest professor in recent memory, at the school in which he was formally a student. Professor Doubleday was much taken in by the elder, brash and confident scientist. And most importantly, he knew that with his help the doc would succeed.
With his funding all secured, permits obtained, his laboratory equipped and prepped, and an able assistant standing by, all he had to wait for, was a “fresh” test subject that voluntarily or involuntarily donated their body for his noble cause. He didn’t have to wait long, almost immediately after completing the final installation of the remaining equipment, the sound of an emergency vehicle could be heard coming from a distance. Its siren grew louder as it approached the loading dock. As the brakes locked, the tires screeched and the vehicle came to a
jolting stop, they hurriedly unloaded their first test subject.
As Doctor Hulbert made his final calculations, the professor prepared the body. Wires were placed strategically in precise locations and intravenous drip tubes were inserted into the corpse. As the old blood was being drained, they had to match its type against the in-house supplies before the fresh blood serum could be pumped into the corpse.
When all was prepared, Doctor Hulbert’s blood serum, which contained his “elixir of life,” a special mixture of nutrients and chemicals he designed during years of painstaking research and experimentation, was warmed, and began to be pumped into the waiting subject. Everything was going according to the well rehearsed and planed procedure.
The duo worked like men possessed, laboring over the corpse lying on the table. At last, the time they had been waiting for, the event that would give either great jubilation or crushing defeat had come…the electric current; the giver of life must be applied. Jolting the corpse with flowing electric current, using different amperage and voltage, for longer and shorter durations of time they started and stopped the current over and over again. The corpse would twitch and spasm each time the current was applied, but that was it, nothing else happened. And after a while, there was seen what looked like smoke arising from the corpse, as a distinct smell of burning flesh emanated from the body lying on the table. Undeterred, Doc Hulbert finally said, “That’s it, away with this stiff and get me another one.” This went on day after day, month after month, until they had plied their wiles upon enough lifeless bodies to populate an entire small city. They say “Never give up,” however, it is also said, “Don’t beat a dead horse.”
Let us now leave the dream-world of Doctor Hulbert, Professor Doubleday and all modern-day evolutionists and face the reality, that even with a pre-assembled, properly wired, all parts in their apt order and place, nothing done to a corpse will re-endow it with that elusive mysterious something, life. That “light switch” which allows the current (life) to flow through an organic being, can never be created in a laboratory or in “nature.” For when something dies, that life-force is now once again back within the hands of the one who created it in the first place, God. And He is not about to hand it back over to a deluded, mentally unstable, deceived fool, an evolutionist.

God bless~
I agree that life is in the hands of the creator and Him only.
