In the world today a lot of strange things are happening. Some you can see with your physical eyes, some you can't see, some you can understand with mere human knowledge but some are too deep to comprehend.
The reality is that we live in a mysterious world full of mysterious people and happenings. And for one to survive and not become a prey, one has to be sensitive to the happenings around him. It is written "watch and pray".
But a lot of people don't know how to even watch not to talk about pray. Today a lot of christians have become so relaxed and there is this notion of "Nothing can go wrong". But the reality is that most of these people that follow this notion are lazy christians who are not ready to watch and pray. They have no sensitivity to spiritual events going on around them.
A lot of them don't even have time to examine their spiritual lives. They all just believe they have been 'saved once" and "forever saved".
They have forgotten that it is written that "work out your salvation daily with fear and trembling".
Spiritual sensitivity is the ability to hear from God, see things the physical eyes can't see, have deep understanding of mysterious happenings around.
For someone who has spiritual sensitivity he can't be wasted by the enemy. He can't be easily manipulated by the ministers and agents of satan because it is written "discern all spirits". He can therefore discern.
Spiritual sensitivity gives the sense of belonging to God's family. When you can inquire from the father about events and the father can give you "top secrets" that would make you distinct from the crowd.
This is one thing we should all desire to attain. I pray that God would help us to get to this level with the father and be able to enjoy the best of communication with the father that would help us to effectively watch and pray.

Amen. This touched my heart, because it is so true. Your devotional bristles with truth and is a timely reminder for many.
