Of course, Paulina who was born and raised on the streets, had a way with dealing with issues that were prompt to arise, Paulina out going and friendly always manage to simmer down a heated argument, if she had the chance.
Carla on the other hand was always amazed with Paulina’s enthusiasm to bring peace. Paulina always knew exactly what to say, at the right time; Carla sometimes didn’t understand how Paulina was so bold and courageous to just walk up to folks she didn’t even know and strike a conversation. Paulina was a gifted child and feared nothing.
Carla said, to Paulina, “Don’t you ever get scared that someone might snap at you or say something wrong?”
Paulina’s reply was nope! I believe, “If your intentions are in the right place, God will have my back. (2 CHRONICLES 20:17) NIV You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you.”
Carla amazed at times, that Paulina had the intelligence of a skilled soldier in the army in constant battle with the enemy, fighting for peace. She was a warrior with a keen mind and very, very sharp. She was quick with words and fully equipped with words of wisdom, very rich and highly favored in that area. Always had a positive answer or comeback for whoever it was she spoke of or to. (DANIEL 5:12) NIV This man Daniel, whom the king called Belteshazzar, was found to have a keen mind and knowledge and understanding, and also the ability to interpret dreams, explain riddles and solve difficult problems. Call for Daniel, and he will tell you what the writing means.”
She always used that analogy; Let me give you a tip, “here’s a hundred dollar bill (In words) spend it wisely.”
People enjoyed talking to her, she had such a cheerful spirit, always got the attention of those she talk to, especially when there was an altercation or a disagreement.
Paulina was like a box of lucky charms.
When Paulina was on a mission she very well conquered the task, Paulina was always on a mission to bring peace. (ROMANS 12:18) NIV If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
Paulina with her box of lucky charms always managed to pull it off, there she was in action. Before you knew it she was in a conversation with the two, “one looking a little confused, the other listening to Pauling just run her mouth.
Now both a little dumbstruck at the whole situation, with this look on their face… “Like who is this psycho woman just running her mouth? "Who dosen't know me?"
At that moment God was certainly with Paulina, because things were about to get hot! Before you knew it, one woman walked away and the other stayed talking, nodding her head up and down, then smiling, soon after they were slicing, dicing, and chopping it up, laughing.
“19 teen years old”, so young covered in tattoo’s, a gangster she claimed to be, from the Eastside her hometown she said.
“Paulina asked her, her name? She said my name is giggles.
It was a magnificent sight to see, Paulina made a friend that day, exchanged numbers and from that moment further they remained friends.
Paulina managed to take giggles “who is now, Tonya” under her wing and care for her as a little sister. (TITUS 2:7-8) NIV In your teaching show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us.
Paulina, Carla and Tonya are now, like the three musketeers’.
