Ken had a temp job at Mervins Department Store. Ken was a brown haired man in his thirties, who was dressed in a pair of slacks on with a white shirt. I was working in the men’s department stocking jeans. Chong was a Chinese looking man, who was dressed in a pair of slacks with a dress shirt and tie. He was the supervisor in charge of stocking men’s clothing.
It was after lunch when he said to me, “Ken, I can’t believe this craziness is over a baby."
“Do you know who Jesus was?” Ken asked."
“I think he was some king,” said Chong.
“Jesus is the son of God. He came on this earth to die for our sins, so we can go to heaven some day,’ said Ken.
“Why did he need to die for our sins?” inquired Chong.
“In order for us to go to heaven, we need to be totally perfect, or without sin. Jesus lived a perfect life he was our substitute. He died on the cross in our place so we can have eternal life with God. Now that is the real meaning of Christmas,” said Ken.
Chong had a look on his face like he was thinking. Ken was hoping that he convinced Chong that he needs Jesus.
Ken added, “Eternal life is a free gift from God. If you ask Jesus into your heart, you can have a home in heaven someday. I have something that I have with my lunch bag that I can give you before I go home. Please read it and consider Jesus.”
If I said all of that, instead of keeping my mouth shut, maybe Chong would have got to know Jesus today. I cannot believe I blew it.

You used "I" in the beginning and the end, but "Ken" in the middle section. That's a bit confusing.
I appreciate your sensitive spirit.
