Topic: Illustrate the meaning of "It's No Use Crying over Spilt Milk" (without using the actual phrase or literal exampl (02/07/08)
"Get up out of that bed child, stop all of that noise," this is what my Mother would say to me."It ain't no use of wasting all of those tears". This was at least a twice a month ordeal with me.
You see, I was a very shy little girl, and it was so easy to have my feelings hurt.Anytime someone or something got the best of me, I would climb up in my Mother's Bed, and pull the cover's over my head. I would have myself a pity party.
Later, my Mom would come and sit on the edge of the bed. She listened patiently,as I poured my heart out to Her.She had a way of making the problem seem smaller and smaller.
She would build my confidence up and have me laughing in no time.
Then,her final encore would be to plant the sweetest kiss on my chin; then give me her warmest smile. After those two things,She would give me a big hug and a Candy Bar as She walked away.

Thank you for sharing your childhood memories with us. You could expand this more if you wrote about an example of one of those times you were upset. Keep on writing!

Nice telling. Very personal. FYI-it would help the reader if you put 2 spaces after the period at the end of each sentence. Helps the reader separate phrases and hold onto the thought of the sentence. :)
