Designs of evil to discharge,
Threading turmoil through the warp and woof of life.
He's no concern that you should fear,
But be aware that he is near
When you see stitches in your fabric made of strife.
He does his work behind the scenes,
Deploys confusion as his means
To weave his darkness into God's redeeming light.
He picks up one unfiltered thought,
Suspends it waving 'til it's caught
By you, then spins it while the truth fades out of sight.
Fellowship becoming mangled
May be evidence you're tangled
In the patchwork of his tightly woven quilt.
Understanding is befuddled.
Unity, once strong, is muddled
As frustration grows and wisdom starts to wilt.
He's the spinner of ferhoodle
Ruining lives kit and caboodle,
Knotting them to dangle fruitless in his weave.
Twisted yarns to suit his guise
Spun on garish spools of lies,
Stand on watch for careless remnants to deceive.
So, if you're writhing in vexation
Mired in discombobulation,
But there seems to be no reason for your gloom,
You might discover the solution
To the sordid convolution
In the tapestry of Satan's evil loom.
