Encouragement
Rejoicing brings forth more strength in the heart and mind of the believer than anything else in this world. I through personal experience can say that when I choose to rejoice; all hurts, attacks of vengeance, 'spirit of heaviness', slothfulness, stress and past pains in my heart and mind seem to disappear. For it is through my salvation of my hope in Christ that I rejoice in,(Psalm 13.5). When you rejoice in the mercy of Christ not only is your mind as ease, yet your flesh shall rest also,(Psalm 16:9). It's no wonder to say that the opposite happens when you are heavy burden in your mind with stress, that your body seems to reap the consequences of the constant burden of stress. We also learn in (Psalm 20:5), that it is when we rejoice in our salvation unto the Lord that he then fulfils our request in our life's. The Lord is our strength and our shield, that alone is enough to rejoice over in all things,(Psalm 28:7). Every-time we rejoice in the Lord, is an opportunity to praise God and magnify his Holy name,(Psalm 40:16). Which is a constant faith unto the Lord. Think about all the times through sorrow and problems that you could have took your weeping and complaining and turned it into rejoicing before the Lord? Putting your trust in him alone,(Psalm 33:21). Setting back and rejoicing in the shadow of the Lord's wings; because he has come to your help,(Psalm 63:7)! Our King reigns forever, let us at least rejoice in that alone. That we serve a King who is greater than any problem we may have,(Psalm 97:1)! Rejoice in his word when you read! There is no greater riches on this earth then that of his word by which you hold in your hands,(Psalm 119:162)! if you keep your eyes focused on Christ your heart will rejoice in the Lord,(Proverbs 15:30),(Matthew 6;22). From my own opinion, I can always tell the level of a Christian's walk in Christ by the amount of their rejoicing in the Lord! Think about it! Most people today express their happiness in the Lord by singing and rejoicing unto the Lord, either way he Love's it,(Proverbs 29:6)! Solomon said that there is no greater thing in the life of a person: "but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life",(Ecclesiastes 3:12). Those who rejoice in God's highness are those who are sanctified by the Lord,(Isaiah 13:3). When we rejoice in the Lord he in return, rejoices over us! For is it a faith act unto the Lord and he honors that from us,(Isaiah 62:5),(Hebrews 11:6). Don't rejoice in your heart when a brother or sister in Christ' is down or vengeance has come unto them, For it is in that time through their humbleness, that God will raise them up and be a light unto them,(Micah 7:8). When people attack us and persecute us and say bad things to us; that is the right time to rejoice knowing that your reward in heaven will be great if you rejoice. That demonstrates your faith and trust in the Lord,(Matthew 5:11-12). Not when things are going great is it then that test your faith, trust and rejoice in the Lord; but when you encounter troubles! The wonderful thought of knowing that our names are written in the 'Lambs book of life', is well worthy to be rejoiced over,(Luke 10:20). Always, always rejoice in the knowing of a lost one coming to the Lord,(Luke 15:19)!
Lord we rejoice and give you thanks right now; because you did go to the Father and now we have your Holy Spirit who will comfort and show us the truth pertaining to all things in this life! For he is omnipresent and can be everywhere at all times.(John 14:28). We rejoice in you Lord Jesus; because we now that where you are, we will be also! AMEN. What a great rejoicing we give just knowing that we have complete access to the thrown of God,(Romans 5:2). We can go to his thrown anytime we want. We have the VIP, AT&T and spiritual satellite connection to our father anytime we need him!!! Rejoicing, even though it is a choice it is also a commandment, to be happy in the Lord, love him with praises and rejoice in all things,(Philippians 3:1),(1 Thessalonians 5:16)! "Let the brother of low degree rejoicein that he is exalted",(James 1:9). Anybody that rejoices in their own boastings and accomplishments, their rejoicing is evil,(James 4:16)!!! There are 5 crowns given to the believer and one of them is the "crown of rejoicing",(Thessalonians 2:19). So with this being said put on your holy 'crown of rejoicing', casting down wicked imaginations. Fill your heart and thoughts with rejoicing unto the Lord with praise, honor him and give him all the glory! FOR HE IS WORTHY TO BE PRAISED!
