Running right back to sin
Embracing temptation
Making evil my kin
But you take me back again
Here I go again, Lord!
Feeling tired in the midst of labor
Hugging slothfulness
Saving effort for later
But you come and make me greater
Here I go again, Lord!
Building a selfish mind
Chasing riches
Afraid of falling behind
But my chains you come unbind
Here I go again, Lord!
Seeking any easy road
Lacking direction
Wanting a lighter load
But my doubts you do erode
Here I go again, Lord
Climbing down the mountainside
Losing hope
Finding a place to hide
But here you are, right by my side
