There are days, in the midst of trials when I can’t help but wonder if I will get through, then I am reminded of the words, He will not put more on you than you can bear. Somehow I eek out a prayer, ‘give me strength Lord,’ and before you know it, I’ve come through it, and a new day has begun!
It is in the midst of these trials when the storms are raging that I sometimes utter the words of John, even so, come Lord Jesus! (Revelations 22:20) Now would be the perfect time to split the eastern sky and ride in and sweep us away! Oh Lord, won’t you come today?
Then from the corner of my eye I notice someone watching. They are waiting to see how I get through the storm. They are waiting to see if I collapse under the weight or keep on keeping on! It is in this moment that I realize so many have not yet heard!
Part of me wants to be dancing on the streets of gold where I know there will be no more tears and finally reunited with my loved ones who’ve already arrived, free of this world and the cares each day brings, but knowing that there is someone in my circle that hasn’t heard, brings me back to the moment!
I must endure as a good soldier. I must send the message that God is concerned about every situation! I must let them know that even in the midst of the storm, with one word He speaks and the storm is stilled!
Who will tell them of God’s mercy? Who will testify of God’s grace? Who will take a stand when the rest of the world has sat down? It is these questions that push me on, that prod me another step, because they haven’t heard!
Wrapped up in my life I tend to forget that there are still so many that haven’t answered the call! Consumed with my storm, I tend to forget others are watching. Yes, the message is powerful and again my faith is strengthened, God pulled me through; nevertheless, it wasn’t just for me – while I came through, others noticed that the storm has subsided and a few venture to ask, “how did you keep from losing your mind?”
We must push through, because so many haven’t heard!
We must endure, because someone is watching!
We must not give up, give in or breakdown in the midst of trials, because someone is waiting to hear how you made it through!
Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest. Matthew 9:37-38
Oh Lord we wait for Your return and yet we know there is still so much work to do! We want to hear the sound of the trumpet and be free of this world, worshipping around Your throne, yet as much as I long for that day, Oh God have mercy on those who have not yet heard! Give us strength and wisdom! Guide us by Your loving hand! Open our eyes to see those around us who have yet to hear, and open their hearts to the Message of the Gospel! In Your Name we pray! Amen!

...Yes, I didn't know why this woman was so excited. But then I began to get excited. Excited because she was so urgent - telling me how Jesus Christ had come into her heart and life, and paid the debt of all her sins...and gave her a new life...So I followed her to church, and after a time I knew that the pulling was real, and that when the Pastor gave an alter call, and my temples were zinging; almost in pain - and every nerve in my body and soul was ready to leap...I WENT FORWARD!!!!
Love and hugs,
Mamasita :)))))
