Poetry
I SHOUT!!!!!
I shout for joy when girl or boy
Does take my Father’s hand
And walks the path around thy wrath
To yonder promised land
I shout for joy when Christ deploys
His angels to my aid
they calm my fear and help me hear
The promise God has made
I shout for joy when love destroys
The pain shame can produce
If only man could understand
Our shame is without use
When this life ends and grace He sends
Because I’ve done his will
Upon my leave please do believe
I will be shouting still

Rod, this is a delightful poem--simple, but there was such a sense of joy in it that it gave me a real lift.
But reading your poem was a lovely side-benefit of the real reason I'm trying to get in touch with you. I need to contact you fairly urgently about the next FaithWriters' Anthology (you have a winning story in it). Could you send me a quick Private Message when you see this (make sure you include your email address), and I'll explain what I need. It's about a bio note.
Look forward to hearing from you. Deb (Challenge Coordinator)
