Glenn woke up in the morning with a desire to watch Christmas movies all day with his daughter. How strange this was, he thought as he stood outside his sleeping daughter's bedroom. This same man appeared in both of his dreams. Both times he told him to spend time with Maggie, and during Glenn's first dream the man told him he knew someone Maggie had talked to. It was very odd indeed. Nevertheless, he felt the urge to wake his daughter up and tell her they were going to spend the day watching Christmas movies together. He ran his hand through his dark, curly hair as if trying to process everything, then went into Maggie's room to wake her. He paused for a moment. Beside Maggie's bed on her nightstand was a picture of her and her mom at the Los Angeles Zoo. They were standing near an orangutan's cage. Maggie's mother was so pretty, with her blonde hair and blue eyes. Maggie had those same features. Tears came to Glenn's eyes as he looked at the feature. He couldn't hold it in anymore. He cried so that his sobs woke Maggie up. "Daddy, are you OK?" she asked, sitting up.
Glenn turned to Maggie and clutched her close to his chest, covering her with kisses and tears. "My baby girl, you look so much like your mama," he whispered.
"She was pretty, wasn't she?" asked Maggie.
"Oh, she sure was, baby. She sure was, and you look so much like her." Glenn gave his daughter about a couple thousand more kisses and said, "Maggie, I'm so sorry I haven't paid much attention to you since your mama died. I've just been so sad I thought I could avoid thinking of how sad I was if I worked long hours, but every extra hour I spent working, I thought of you and missed you so much. Maggie, I love you more than anything else in the world."
"I love you, Daddy." Maggie hugged him tightly around the neck, and then she and Glenn watched Christmas movies all day. As they watched IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE, Glenn wondered if the man who had appeared in his dreams was an angel.
