Joseph of Arimathea came to Pilate, and craved the body of Jesus so the body of Jesus to Joseph Pilate had gave.
Nicodemus who came to him by night, came and helped Joseph prepare the body of Jesus (Sorrowfully) for the grave.
They laid him in an empty tomb, hewn out of stone. Where there never was a body that had previously lain.
Some of Jesus followers were down cast, they never thought it would end like this, but they had seen him slain.
The first day of the week came and Mary goes early to the tomb, and sees that the stone is somehow rolled away.
She runs to Peter, and the other disciple, and said they have moved the stone, and now we know not where the Lord does lay.
Peter went forth, along with the other disciple and arrived at what was now just an empty tomb.
They saw the linen clothes lying, and the napkin used to wrap his head lying apart, and they knew not what to assume.
John had followed Peter in, and when he saw he believed, for as yet they did not know the scriptures that he must live again.
The two disciples left and went back to their own home, but Mary stayed behind and looked in the tomb once more for him.
She saw two angels now in the tomb sitting, one at the head, and the other at the feet of where the savior had previously been.
They say to her, woman why weepest thou? She said they have taken my Lord, and I know not where they have taken him.
When she said this, she turned back startled and seen Jesus, but she knew not it was Jesus at the first.
Jesus says to her, why weepest thou? Whom seekest thou? She supposed him to have been the gardener, thinking the worst.
Jesus called her by name, Mary, and she immediately turned about and said Rabboni, which is to say master.
Jesus tells her to touch him not for he has not yet been to his father, she runs to tell the disciples, never had she run faster.
Then the same day at evening, the disciples were shut up in the house, hiding for fear of the Jews.
Then came Jesus and stood in the midst of them, and said unto them, My Peace be unto you.
When he had said this, he showed unto them his hands, and his side. Then were the disciples glad to see the Lord.
Then before leaving them he admonished them again, and all were strengthened by what was now God’s living word.
Thomas one of the twelve was not with them, and said except I see this for myself, I will not believe.
So after eight days the Lord returned to them while Thomas was there, and asked him to come to him so he could receive.
There is no price too great for Thomas, and the ransom to free me was much higher than my life could have ever been worth.
God made every provision for him, and any that will come, just like he paid the sum in full for my salvation by a new birth.
A useless, worn out slave I was, had spent my best years toiling for a master that cares not for any man’s soul.
Yet this same resurrected Savior came to me in the midst of the room I was hid in, and asked me. Wilt thou be made whole?
