Thoughts of Love
by Patricia Bankhead
In the beginning, before the earth was framed,
before you were born and knew your name,
I thought of you,
and that thought was—Love.
In the beginning, before I hung the stars in the sky,
before you beheld your mother's loving eyes,
I thought of you,
and that thought was—Love.
In the beginning, before I made the deep blue seas,
yes, before you had one thought of Me,
I thought of you,
and that thought was—Love.
The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee. Jer 31:3

I needed this - this and the scripture about how he knew us BEFORE our mother's womb - the circumstances of my conception were definitely less than ideal but knowing God planned me and I wasn't an accident to Him means everything!
This is such a beautiful reminder of God's love for us! God Bless you!
