Let’s all recall the ‘sacrifice of praise’
When heaped upon a dismal haze.
Of whom do you confide – this darkened hour
When "faith, hope and love" - ferments sour?
To release the virtues of a dormant seed
Be aware who has trespassed your deed !
As one 'sister' is echoed - piercing the night
Praise God! "No matter what” is in sight...
In audible words, or choruses of preference
Perhaps a rustic hymn book as your reference?
I now choose to praise God “no matter what”…
To refuse the shackles of the Devil’s distaste.
With upraised arms we sight the finish line.
Motion sustained by a leaning praise - Divine
Just because He is.
