Calling Home
Have you called home today,
and spoken to your gracious father?
Or has all your time been spent,
to call home... you just didn’t bother.
Have you let your father worry,
about sinful things you may do today?
Or have you call home to ask him,
for his guidance along the way.
Have you reserve time for your father,
to talk about life’s important things?
Or did he just watch from a distance,
the sorrow this world brings?
You know you’re special to him,
when you call, he’s never too busy.
You know you’ll never have to wonder,
is he home.... or isn’t he?
The line to his house is always open,
he’s waiting now, to hear from you.
Whenever you call upon him,
your call is forwarded straight through.
If you feel your time is already taxed,
you haven’t a moment to spare.
Remember the time he spent on Calvary,
.... how our sin, put him there.
Remember the veil which separated you,
to him.... that veil was a bother.
And Jesus took time to mention your name,
when he called home,to his father.
