Then God began removing the scales from my spiritual eyes, taking the fog from my mind, and softening my head and heart so I could become teachable and malleable into His instrument. He, also, began to infill, empower, and work through me….
The Triune Godhead has always been; consists of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit; and each is PERSON in Totality and Perfection.
The Trinity created the heavens and the earth, everyone, and everything that would inhabit them. All, with the exception of the final two beings of creation, was created from nothing. God pronounced all of this creation “good.”
Then came Their Masterpiece—mankind. Man was created out of dust (which had been created at the time dry land came into being). Woman was created out of a portion of man; God performing the first ever surgical operation and removing a rib from man which was used to fashion woman.
The creation of mankind surpassed all other creation. The Godhead had chosen to create mankind in Their Image. Unlike any other, mankind were body, mind, and soul, and possessed the attributes of God Who we know is Spirit and “is to be worshiped in sprit and in truth.”(John 4:24, NKJV) They had the ability to think and reason, and were given the privilege to make their own choices instead of being programmed like the rest of creation.
The Trinity, well pleased, pronounced their final act of creation as “very good.” To signal that creation was complete, God then rested—ceased momentarily from creating.
For a period of time known only to God, Perfection was throughout the created Garden of Eden. In the cool of the evening, Adam (the man) and Eve (the woman) would walk with God. Unfortunately, that was only the beginning—not the end—of the story of mankind.
Being PERSON in Totality and Perfection, the Triune Godhead knew, before “the foundations of the earth were laid,” (I Peter 1:20, NKJV) what was going to transpire. Having mankind could make their own choices—even though many would be of dire consequences, they let mankind proceed.
The Lord God had already cast Lucifer (fallen archangel) a.k.a. Satan (the devil) and his company of fallen angels His Heaven. Satan may forget that he is only another creation of the Triune Godhead, possibly even fooling himself by his master disguises The Perfect Counterfeit, the angel of light, chose to inhabit the body of a brightly colored serpent. Eve and Adam responded to his sly temptation in his desired manner.
But that was not the end!... Loving, All Wisdom Godhead set into action Their Ultimate Plan where by mankind would be restored back to the perfection of pre-Fall.
There hadn’t been any want, need, hunger, or sorrow because all of creation was Perfection. After the Fall, these would always be present. God knew that, if Adam and Eve remained in the Garden of Eden, they would eventually eat of the Tree of Eternal Life. However, because of their sinfulness, it would not be LIFE, but eternal existence in the quagmire of sin and, ultimately, the Lake of Fire.
Therefore, All Wise God performed the first blood sacrifice by killing animals to obtain their skins as covering for Adam and Eve. God covered them, not because His Creation was not beautiful, but because of the ugliness of sin and also to protect them after He put them out from the Garden. That, too, was the Ultimate Plan of the Godhead.
Ever since, mankind has been driven by hunger. These hungers have been driving forces in mankind’s history. Most were selfish and vile.
Receipt of the Precious Gift of His Salvation made possible by the Triune Godhead, leads to the realization all the other hungers resulted from the until then unfulfilled hunger for God. Adam and Eve had had the enjoyment and privilege of walking with the LORD GOD in the cool of the evening!
No wonder, ever since the Fall, mankind has searched for something or someone to satisfy this unknown hunger. The Lord Jesus Christ and His Precious Gift of Salvation by way of the cross is the answer. Once He has Saved us, He instills in us a hunger that is well worthwhile: “Blessed are they who hunger and thirst after righteousness.” (Matthew 5:6a, NKJV).
