To find her at His feet is not unusual.
Oblivious.
His face is all she sees; His voice, all she hears.
Failure to lend a hand
Was once her sister’s accusation.
His reply—
Let her be.
I desire to be like her;
Listen only to His voice.
Shut out voices from without,
And especially voices from within.
Away!
Can’t do, can’t have, can never be.
Welcome,
Can do, you have, you already are.
She senses—He won’t be with her much longer.
She opens the jar, pours out every drop.
She would not give Him
That which cost her nothing.
Such a waste
Is the general consensus.
His reply—
Let her be.
I aspire to be like her.
What spiritual insight!
She loves with such abandon;
No regard for what others think.
Discovery;
The depths of His love.
No stopping.
She won’t let them, neither will He.
