Love is a cross-made of wood and a crown made of thorns.
Love is not a ballad to be played or a song to be sung by a choir.
Love is pain and death that none of us would choose or desire.
Love is not a candy like chocolate that is ever so sweet
Love is hyssop soaked in vinegar and wine the pain to treat.
Love is not jewelry such as silver and gold that one may wear and keep.
Love is three dull nails driven in anger, into His hands and His feet.
Love is not a lighthearted moment shared with that very special friend.
Love is The Father having to turn His Back on His son because of our sin.
Love is not the sight of the one you love and a sudden loss of breath.
Love is a mother sobbing at the foot of a cross watching Her son’s death.
Love is not being caught between two loves, and having too choose from both whom entice.
Love is hanging between two thieves on a hill, and only one believes and enters paradise.
Love is not friends coming together to share in the joy of a wedding dinner.
Love is the ones Christ died for calling up to Him that He was the sinner.
Love is not words spoken between a man and women, both their hearts to woo.
Love is the words spoken by The Son to His Father, “forgive, they no what they do.”
Love is not a soft bed in a room filled with candles and great works of art.
Love is a tomb hewn from rock inside so damp, so cold and so dark.
Love is not reading they lived happy ever after at the end of the story.
Love is faith in Christ who arose from the dead; to God is The Glory!
Love is not complete as long as there is a sinner lost in sin
Love is complete when Gods love brings that sinner in!
