Today in the 21st century this same gospel that Paul preached is still met with strong opposition.
"Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and preaching ”The Gospel of The Kingdom".
The word gospel is derived from the old Anglo-Saxon word meaning "good message" or "good news." And indeed it is!
It means Heaven has come down and lifted mankind up. Mankind can now have a personal relationship with his Creator.
We have been reconciled back to our God through His Son Yeshua (Jesus).
Yeshua was excited to deliver the “Good news” to mankind.
Yeshua loved us from the beginning.
In the beginning was The Word and The Word was with God and The Word was God.
Yeshua is the Word.
" Yeshua [Jesus] went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and preaching “The Gospel of The Kingdom" He spoke of God as Father.
"Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be Your Name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven."
The Gospel that is being preached today has been altered.
Oh there is still the call to repentance. To feel regret. To change one's mind about sin.
To repent means to turn away from what you were doing, plain and simple stop doing it.
Also, Yeshua [Jesus] said, "If you desire to be perfect, go and sell all that you have, and give to the poor, and you shall have wealth in Heaven; and come, follow me."
Christian's today are worldly, or a better word materialistic.
Some Christian's have more clothes, shoes, household belongings, etc. than they will ever use.
Some people throw away more food in a week than the charity food banks can give each person they serve for a month.
When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats:
And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was hungry, and you gave me meat:
I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink:
I was a stranger, and you took me in:
Naked, and you clothed me:
I was sick, and you visited me:
I was in prison, and you came unto me.
Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when did we see you an hungry, and fed you? or thirsty, and gave you a drink?
When did we see you a stranger, and took you in?
Or naked, and clothed you?
Or when did we see you sick, or in prison, and came unto you?
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as you have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, you have done it unto me.
Then he will say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, you cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
For I was an hungry, and you gave me no meat:
I was thirsty, and you gave me nothing to drink:
I was a stranger, and you didn't take me in:
naked, and you didn't clothed me:
sick, and in prison, and you didn't visit me.
Then they also answered him, saying, Lord, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto you?
Then he will answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.
And these will go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
We have insulted God if we preach any other Gospel than the one that is inspired by God and delivered to us by the Holy Spirit.
