Sue completed "What's Your Story?" apprentice program with the Christian Writers Guild and "Breaking Into Print" with Long Ridge Writer's Group.

The Upper Room first published Sue's devotion in 2007. Since then her writing has been featured in Chicken Soup for the Soul Finding My Faith, Chicken Soup for the Soul Devotional Stories for Tough Times, Spark Story Bible, Guidepost Books Incredible Answers to Prayer, Hurray God, The Lookout, Seek, Devotions, Vista, Light & Life, Light from the Word, Pockets and more.

Sue leads Sunrise Christian Writers in Fair Oaks, California by facilitating training and critique programs.

When asked what her most rewarding experience is, she says, "It's when I hear that something I wrote touched a heart of changed a life. That's why I write. I write for God's glory."
