I have been married to my sweetheart and best friend for almost 20 years now. More than seven years ago, my husband and I, along with our three children were called by God to adopt three children from Ethiopia. This has been a long, hard road for everyone in our new family, and has led me to my passion for writing. My heart’s desire is to share our difficult experiences so that other adoptive mothers can find hope in the struggles, storms and joys of becoming an adoptive family. For while our lives are very different than we had anticipated, and very hard at times, we are forever changed because God is always with us, has never forsaken us and has walked every step of this painful journey with us.
