My early writing experience came when I created materials for student leaders at the
University of Massachusetts Amherst. I wrote policy manuals and created an informational wiki for student organizations. I also covered town government for five years for
The Sentinel, a weekly newspaper in Belchertown, MA. I currently write book reviews for
Pix-N-Pens, and content articles for
Demand Studios.
I am also teaching public speaking at
Horry Georgetown Technical College where I use my student leadership training experience to enhance the communication curriculum.
In 1974 I received a BA in English with an emphasis in creative writing from
San Diego State University.
In 2007 I received a MA in Communication with a focus on leadership in small groups from the
University of Massachusetts Amherst.
In the rest of my life, I’m a happily married mother and grandmother. I help lead ladies and children’s ministries at my church and I love gardening and reading.
