Before beginning and beyond end.
He is generous in provision.
To men everywhere, along with
Beasts and birds and fish,
He brings showers of rain
And sun’s warm rays
For life-giving sustenance to all.
He is generous in protection,
Sending angels for man’s safekeeping.
He is generous in love.
He sent this Son, His Representation,
To come to earth as a Babe,
To live among men,
To die for the sins of mankind,
And to rise again
To be their Intercessor.
He is generous in guidance.
Through His Word,
He gives instruction
And understanding
Of His commandments,
As well as how to follow them.
He is generous in mercy.
He forgives all who come
To Him in repentance.
He gives wisdom to all who seek it,
Comfort to the grieving,
Companionship to the lonely,
And hope for all who serve Him
That He is with them now,
And they will be with Him forever.
