Dear Royal Help Lady,

I need your advice on dating. I know you get letters from the lovelorn all the time, I think I can safely say I have an uniquely challenging roadblock to romance.

Elsa here. Yes: Elsa from “Frozen.”

If you think it's difficult to find the person of your dreams, try dating without holding hands – for fear of turning your date into an icicle. Even if I liked someone and forgot myself by reaching out to touch them, they'd pull their hand back faster than a mouse avoiding a trap.

Please: resist the urge to tell me to “let it go.” That line gets really old after a while.

Let's face it: most of the heroines in the movie franchise which told my story get a man by the end of the story. While one or two may have ended up single, at least almost all of them got to find their true loves.

Not me. My ditzy sister had two guys in our movie, but did I get even one?

No, I didn't.

So, I'm dating. It's hard enough for a queen to date, but my frigid fingers make it even more of a problem. Last week, I met a prince I really liked. But I forgot myself for a moment while walking in the park and placed my ungloved hand on the poor man's upper arm for support.

Talk about giving someone the cold shoulder.

I know I should be content with my lot in life. I rule a wonderful group of people, I've been reunited with my sister (although she and I will soon need to talk about the hay bills for her boyfriend's moose) and I don't have to keep my “big secret” anymore. I even have a great vacation home – although so far no one but me and Olaf can stay there.

Any suggestions? I'd be eternally grateful.

Oh what a hoot. I thought this story was fun, fresh, and fascinating. I don't know the movie well, but even so, you did a nice job of describing without overdescribing. I think you went out of the topic box and wrote a clever whimsical story. Congratulations on ranking 14 overall. Happy Dance!
