Lean protein's what you love.
Your wife loves pies and cake,
So she'll be round and you'll be flat,
And a very fine couple you'll make.
LAVENDER’S BLUE
Follow your heart, dilly dilly,
When you are king.
Make her your queen, dilly dilly,
Your everything.
Hire a cook, dilly, dilly,
Housecleaner, too.
Then while they work, dilly dilly,
Cuddle and coo.
CURLY LOCKS
Call her your sweetie.
Then promise her true
That when you get married,
No work will she do—
She’ll sit and relax
With desserts all day through.
OLD KING COLE
If you’d be be old souls as merry as me,
Two merry old souls, you would be,
Then get you some fiddlers, get two men or three,
And dance and be merry like me.
LITTLE MISS MUPPET
Don’t sit all the day on your tuffet,
Just eating sweet crackers and brie,
For then he’ll be gone, and leave you alone,
With spiders as your company.

Thanks.
Not so sure of "with spiders as your company."
Very funny!
Great job!
I enjoyed the retelling of the familiar rhymes.
"'Twas in a restaurant they met;
Romeo and Juliet.
He had no way to pay the bill,
So Rome-owed what Juli-et."
Very creative and a lot of fun wrapping itself around some down to earth advice.
Well done.
God bless~
