Beasts of the field roam the earth
Creation praises God, as God rests in the delight of His work
Deception from a serpent leads to man's fall.
Eternal life on earth was not to be.
Flood destroys the earth, except for Noah and his family
God's promise of the rainbow points to the Greater Promise
Humans try to reach God with a tower and languages are confused.
Isaac. Promised son. Sacrifice? Only a symbol of the Greater Sacrifice to come
Joshua follows Moses' leadership, leading the Israelites to the promised land.
Kings rule, as Israel chooses to follow other nations' leads, rather than God's
Laud and honor, as well as lament, fill David's psalms, as he pours out his heart.
Messiah is promised. "Unto us a Son is given."*
Nothing. Silence for 400 years.
One not so silent night, Messiah is born.
Pierced for our transgressions, prophecy is fulfilled.
Questions fill the hearts of His followers. Could He really be the one?
Resurrection. Hope. He is the One.
Saul turned Paul proclaims the Gospel to many.
Today, trials and tribulations fill the earth.
Until that last day.
Victory will be His
Wars will cease.
Xenograft* – transplanted from heaven to earth.
Yahweh returns
Zion is fulfilled.
From Genesis to Revelation,
From A to Z,
The bookends of the Bible
Mean more than life to me.
Within those bookends
God shows his love,
Messiah is sent
From heaven above.
Creation was the start,
The end we've not yet seen,
Yes, the bookends of the Bible
Mean more than life to me.
