The measures He has taken to complete his Master Plan.
He created every atom, every molecule and cell
To keep His stumbling people from the depths of burning Hell.
He knew from the beginning how His work was going to end...
Despite His depth of Love, He knew that we would sin.
So God the Father sent His Son as the Word, come down to man
To teach us; to expose us; to help us understand.
What perfection! What a light has been shown through Christ the Son...
Yet there are still too many who see the Light and run!
If only they were running TOWARD the light and not away,
There seems no comprehension of a pending Judgment Day.
The masses will assemble with no way to run and hide
And the Lord will choose among them who will be His loving bride.
Those remaining then will see what God wanted us to know...
From earliest creation there was just one way to go.
On that day of revelation we will see just what we've done
Our souls will cry in anguish if we rejected God's own Son.
What is it then that measures who will enter, who will not?
We all have crimes against us, though we thought we'd not be caught.
The difference, oh, please hear me, is so massive (yet so small)
We tend to overlook it, and that leads us to our fall.
The difference is the Blood that was shed on Calvary
To save a wretched sinner... yes, even one like me.
