• TITLE: FLAWED SUPPOSITIONS | Previous Challenge Entry

Belief, that is false
and foreign to God’s will,
cascades like a waterfall,
into the sea of humanity,
its power and destructive ability
camouflaged with a rainbow,
as it flows and expands,
drowning inner truths
neath its politically correct spray.

Ideas, that are perversions
of God’s perfect plans,
grow like weeds,
spread their seeds,
in the minds of multitudes,
increasing,
smothering common sense
between the pages
of closed bibles.

Lies, void of God’s moral code,
tramples natural affection,
mocks commandments,
as it seeks to inflate itself,
with cries of:
it’s my choice, its my freedom,
it’s my body, it’s my life,
while it steals those very things
from the most innocent.

Yet, as those beliefs,
ideas, and lies,
freely flow and go,
to all corners of the earth,
gaining acceptance,
as they defend and pretend
what they offer is better—
as they multiply themselves,
distorting and subverting
God’s Holy, unerring way...

deep within
the bowels of earth,
Hell’s gruesome groans,
are brushed off, discounted,
go unheeded,
as it labors to expand,
to swallow up the growing many,
who’ve chosen to exchange,
God’s supreme, sacred wisdom,
for the flawed suppositions of man!



Isaiah 5:14 Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.
